As the IT Manager at BodySpec, you will play a critical role in managing our information technology systems, ensuring their efficiency, security, and seamless operation. You will lead IT and work closely with various departments to support the company's technology needs. This role is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking IT professional to contribute to the growth and success of BodySpec.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of all IT resources.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Technology Strategy:
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute the company's technology strategy.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to improve business processes and outcomes.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Manage relationships with external technology vendors and service providers, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality services.
  • Troubleshooting and Support:
    • Provide technical support to employees and troubleshoot hardware and software issues as they arise.
  • Virtual Machine Management:
    • Experience in setting up and managing virtual machines for efficient resource allocation.
  • Hyper-V Settings:
    • Familiarity with configuring and managing virtualization environments using Hyper-V or similar technologies.
  • DevOps (Nice-to-Have):
    • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for streamlining software development, deployment, and automation, with a specific focus on AWS cloud services.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, processes, and configurations.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT management, including team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of network administration, security protocols, and cloud computing platforms.
  • Proficiency in system administration (Windows, Linux, etc.) and virtualization technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technology issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the healthcare or wellness industry is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in a Series A or earlier stage startup is highly relevant and preferred.
