• Assist with management of the monthly and annual financial statement closing process and review preliminary
  
  

results for variances, reasonability, etc.

• Maintain the general ledger. Prepare or review monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts such as
  
  

AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other accrued expenses. Ensure all

balance sheet accounts are reconciled and accurate.

• Gain an in depth understanding of the company's industry and business in order to be able to connect the
  
  

detailed aspects of the business to the financial reporting and associated record keeping.

• Work with revenue accountant to interpret revenue arrangements, assess revenue implications, and
  
  

document conclusions on revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606

• Perform monthly accounting close activities, including but not limited to preparing account
  
  

reconciliations and control documentation.

• Assist in the preparation of documentation for external auditors and work with Revenue Accountant to
  
  

proactively resolve revenue-related queries.

• Assist in driving business process improvements and automation, bringing best practices to accounting
  
  

operations.

• Assist in supporting strategic initiatives across product lines and ad-hoc projects
• Stay current on accounting standards and regulations related to revenue recognition, capitalization of
  
  

software customization, etc.…

• Assist with establishing and maintaining corporate accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to
  
  

ensure conformance with US GAAP and SOX laws/regulations

• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasting
• Other accounting related work as may be required
