ABOUT THIS POSITION

As our P&C Specialist, you will assist in the daily functions of the People & Culture team including onboarding, offboarding, facilities, and recruiting. You will help to implement Aceable processes and policies, and provide superior support to Aces at all levels. Our ideal candidate has existing P&C/HR experience, is creative, people-focused, and possesses a strong attention to detail.

*This role is a hybrid position. Candidates must live in the Austin, Texas metro area and be willing to work from our downtown Austin, TX office two days per week.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Ensure each employee has a superior experience by serving as the first point of contact for questions and requests (escalating as necessary) and maintaining a clean, organized office workspace
• Provide recruiting support, including posting job opportunities, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
• Drive the new hire onboarding process, including serving as new hire liaison for both employees and managers, triggering all onboarding systems, sending communications, supporting new hire orientation, and completing I9 verifications
• Process employee exits, including sending all communications, updating P&C systems, scheduling exit interviews, and analyzing exit survey data
• Create and send employee change documentation, partner with Payroll Team and Business Partners to ensure timely processing, and accurately manage personnel files within HRIS and people systems
• Provide administrative support for P&C projects, including engagement surveys, performance reviews, training and diversity initiatives, workflow/process improvement, and more
• Complete all employment verifications and unemployment claims
• Partner with Aceable office vendors to order office supplies, snacks, beverages, and facilitate parking needs of employees and guests
• Assist in organizing and executing inclusive company events including happy hours, community service events, parties, and other team building events (virtual and in-person)
• Remain updated on HR market trends and employment laws to ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Located in Austin metro and able to commute two days per week to our downtown Austin, TX headquarters
• 2+ years of progressive People Operations or Human Resources experience
• Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
• Proactive and solutions-oriented nature and ability to predict and plan for potential obstacles
• Superior customer service skills
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication
• Proficient with GSuite and Microsoft products
• Confidentiality and a sense of discretion
• Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and compliance regulations
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations

The compensation range for this position is $62,250 - $75,000
