Sponsorships Account Manager
Capital Factory
Sponsorships Account Manager
Austin, Texas, United States
Customer Engagement Team reporting to Director of Customer Engagement
Full-time, in office
You help the largest companies and organizations in the world to develop relationships with the most innovative entrepreneurs and startups in Texas through sponsorships and programming.
The Sponsorships Account Manager takes the baton once a sponsorship contract is signed and is responsible for delivering an exceptional experience and outcome for our customers. You help the sales team spend more time selling and make sure the events team has everything they need in time to execute the event well.
It’s up to us to make our partners successful – that’s a big reason they choose to keep working with us. Our goal is to provide the type of service you might expect from the Four Seasons or Tiffany’s. We sweat the small stuff. We respect their time. We do whatever it takes and do it with style.
What you will do…
- Act as the first point of contact for all customer interactions once the contract is signed.
- Lead kickoff meetings to define success, align expectations, and collect deliverables.
- Focus on the sponsor’s experience before, during and after our events.
- Produce reports and other sponsorship deliverables after each sponsorship.
- Have a CRM window open all the time.
You'll know you're successful if....
- You allow our Account Executives to spend more time selling.
- You make sure our Events Team has all of the information they need to execute before the deadlines.
- Our CRM always has a detailed and accurate log of activity and up to date contact information.
- Partners and sponsors give unsolicited feedback about how great you are to work with and they show they mean it by giving us repeat business.
About you…
- You have three years of experience working in a CRM such as Salesforce or Hubspot.
- You have a servant mentality and are focused on the customer experience.
- You are organized and plan ahead, but you don’t get stressed out when things change at the last minute… because they will. You roll with it.
- You check your email in the evenings and are available to work during evening events and over the weekends when there is a tight deadline. You do what it takes to get the job done.
- You have a reliable laptop and smartphone.
- You are available to work in person during all events.
- You plan to stay in Texas and commit to this position for 2 years.
