The Role:

As the Head of FP&A at Cart.com, you will be a strong #2 to the Chief Financial Officer with succession potential. You will lead the Financial Planning & Analysis team, partnering deeply across our $300M+ high growth, pre-IPO tech and logistics business.

Your role will encompass strategic planning, financial analysis, and leadership to ensure the financial health and long-term growth of Cart.com.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the FP&A team to provide accurate and timely financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

• Partner with senior leadership to drive business performance and strategy.

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support company goals and growth.

• Oversee budgeting processes and financial planning activities.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

• Identify and manage financial risks.

• Support senior corporate communications, including with the board, investors and other stakeholders

• Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence and integration.

• Drive operational efficiency through process improvements and cost management.

• Present financial insights and recommendations to the executive team.

• Mentor and develop finance team members.

Who You Are:

• Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills.

• Expert in budgeting and forecasting.

• Strong understanding of financial statements and metrics.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Highly analytical with strong ‘storytelling with data’ skills.

• Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, commerce, and related tech.

• Experience in late-stage private and/or public companies.

• Ability to roll up sleeves and thrive in a high-growth, high-performance environment.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.

• Familiarity with financial management software and tools.

What You’ve Done:

• 10+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

• Proven track record of driving business performance and growth.

• Experience in M&A activities and financial due diligence.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience working for a startup.

• Experience in consulting, banking or PE / investment management.

• Experience implementing automation in relevant FP&A activities

• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA).

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Ability to work in a standard office environment as needed.
