The Role:
As a Transportation Program Manager at Cart.com, you will be at the forefront of our logistics operations, driving the success of our small parcel transportation program. You will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our transportation network, ensuring that our customers receive their products efficiently and on time. Your extensive experience in small parcel logistics will be crucial in helping us navigate the complexities of our omnichannel fulfillment network.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and implement comprehensive transportation strategies for small parcel shipments across Cart.com's fulfillment network.
Manage relationships with carrier partners, ensuring service levels meet or exceed Cart.com’s standards.
Optimize transportation costs while maintaining high service levels and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with the operations, logistics, and technology teams to integrate and streamline transportation processes.
Monitor and analyze transportation performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
Lead initiatives to enhance delivery speed, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in transportation and logistics, applying best practices to Cart.com's operations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in transportation.
Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring their transportation needs are met and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.

What You’ve Done:
7+ years of experience in transportation management
5+ years of experience in small parcel logistics.
Proven track record of optimizing transportation networks and managing carrier relationships.
Experience in a client-facing role, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software tools.
Experience in a 3PL or e-commerce environment.
Experience with carrier contract negotiations and network design.
Nice to Haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Advanced certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD).
