The Role:

The Executive Operations Manager works directly with the Shop Houzz CEO to set and align priorities, collaborates with department heads to drive execution, and reports back progress, risks, and successes, ensuring the vision translates into actionable, measurable outcomes and that strategic priorities are tracked and delivered across the organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Translate CEO priorities into clear, actionable project plans and maintain a live tracker to monitor progress

• Drive accountability by following up on deliverables and escalating risks or blockers as needed

• Lead weekly leadership syncs to ensure cross-departmental alignment and momentum

• Communicate key decisions from executive meetings and facilitate smooth handoffs between teams

• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements through refined SOPs and KPI tracking

• Align the CEO’s calendar with strategic goals and prepare agendas and briefing materials for key meetings

• Manage special projects, including confidential initiatives and vendor relationships, from concept to execution

• Draft internal communications and flash reports that keep teams informed and aligned with executive priorities

Who You Are:

• Experienced operations professional with a strong track record of supporting executive leadership and driving cross-functional alignment

• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate high-level vision into actionable plans and measurable outcomes

• Skilled communicator who can confidently engage with senior stakeholders and department heads

• Adept at identifying risks, tracking progress, and ensuring accountability across teams

• Proficient in project management tools such as ClickUp

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving and execution

What You’ve Done:

• Successfully partnered with C-suite executives to set and manage strategic priorities across departments

• Led cross-functional initiatives that improved operational efficiency and team alignment

• Developed and maintained reporting frameworks to track progress, risks, and outcomes

• Facilitated regular executive updates and ensured timely delivery of strategic goals

• Implemented scalable processes to support organizational growth and performance

• Collaborated with department leads to ensure consistent execution of company-wide initiatives

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in a high-growth startup or eCommerce environment and exposure to financial planning, budgeting, or resource allocation
