Job Opportunity

Creative 3D Technologies is in search of a Grants Specialist to join the early team at Creative 3D Technologies and grow as the company does!

Working with the direction of the CEO, you will collaborate with the team to select opportunities, write applications, and obtain grant capital. The selected candidate will be tasked with helping identify grant opportunities and associations to join, working with the team to write compelling grant applications based upon previously successful applications, and working through the process to obtain them as a main point of contact.

The position offers a growth path to a full-time salaried position with full benefits following proof of performance, and immediate stock options and uncapped gross commission potential on closed opportunities,

Job Responsibilities:

• Work to identify open grant opportunities to apply for.
• Research previously successful grant opportunities and writing style to write a winning application.
• Work with the team to understand current product technicals, future product technicals, and company goals to assist in compelling writing.
• Assist in building any additional resources and whitepapers to apply for grants.
• Apply to grant opportunities on behalf of the company.
• Work with the team to follow up on applied grants and bring to closing.
• Assist the team on an as-needed basis for bonuses.

This is a part-time position that assists the company in gaining a stronger capital footing for growth and expansion. After building an initial track record, an opportunity for a full-time position with additional pay and benefits will be offered. An in-person presence will be preferred and sometimes required to best understand the company, team, and technology, but not always required.. A workspace within Creative 3D’s Austin HQ will be provided.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements. Therefore, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Prior successful experience in either civil or defense contract applications.
• A strong understanding of the grant process.
• Flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Track record in copywriting for similar applications.

Compensation Package:

Stock Options - The position will offer an equity position within the company through the company's option pool upon a 1-year vesting schedule.

Closing Commission - A 7% gross uncapped commission will be offered for all closed non-dilutive grants paid upon closing.

Sales Commission - Any grants, such as military grants, that lead into a working contract that drives any sales efforts will earn an additional 3% gross sales commission/finders fee for the total amount purchased.

Following an initial 6-month introductory period, or upon first grant closing, the company will conduct a performance review and offer a full-time opportunity with salary and additional fringe benefits.

Relocation:

This position does not offer free relocation as it’s unnecessary to perform the role, but can assist in the process if a move is desired.
