We’re looking for a Sales Solutions Architect to work closely with our Sales team to articulate the Hypergiant value proposition to current and potential customers by providing subject matter expertise and architect custom solutions for customer’s tactical/strategic needs. You will partner with both technical and non-technical teams to ensure that product offerings enable our customers to realize their objectives. This position will report directly to our VP Strategic Initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for customers and their technical needs, challenges, and goals.
  • Lead efforts collaboratively with developers, designers, product owners, and partner organizations to rapidly develop prototype technical software and hardware solutions.
  • Scope out level of effort and team composition needs to execute custom solutions for clients.
  • Coordinate solution design and architecture with existing product teams to ensure alignment with DoD projects.
  • Work closely with the VP of Engineering, Product, and broader solutions architect team/senior engineers to properly staff and support technical solutions for our clients.
  • Assist the team in discovery and framing efforts across the DoD.


Required Experience

  • 10+ years of customer facing experience in presales, sales engineering, or supporting implementations of DoD or Enterprise software solutions.
  • 10+ years demonstrated experience in managing, mentoring, and coaching development teams in an Agile environment.
  • 5+ years of experience with Defense-based customer-facing interactions and engagements
  • Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field; advanced degree is preferred.
  • Expertise and deep understanding of cloud and edge based solutions
  • Experience in both technical writing and proposal/contract writing.
  • 2+ years of professional experience with React or other JavaScript frameworks.
  • Application deployment experience on DoD platforms (e.g., Platform One Big Bang).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED. Must be eligible to obtain a CAC card for government information systems acces
  • Current Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Experience

  • 4+ years of enterprise-level software engineering or application development experience.
  • Experience with mobile or distributed application development.
  • Experience with geographic visualization application development.
  • Software / hardware integration and network technology experience.

Salary Range
