We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team, focused on providing software and technology solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project management, sharp analytical and prioritization skills, and a deep understanding of project development.

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan, execute, and close software development projects.
  • Develop comprehensive plans defining scope, goals, timelines, resources, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Work across teams, including software developers, designers, quality assurance engineers, and other project team members.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Conduct sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as needed. Lead the project closure process, including finalizing deliverables, obtaining customer acceptance, and conducting project evaluations.
  • Work with client and other capability providers to remove blockers or other obstacles to overall team performance.
  • Balance the long-term vision with the short-term deliverables agreed upon with the client.
  • Act as the communication layer between our client and our internal strategy, design, and technology teams.
  • Manage client expectations to ensure that things get delivered on time, on budget, and in a feasible fashion.
  • Forecast and track project costs.
  • Analyze and organize client Statements of Work (SOWs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
  • Implement project reporting mechanisms and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress.
  • Work with a host of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, customer relationship management (CRM), database, multi-media, or Internet/Web applications.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability. Identify and mitigate risks associated with software projects and implement risk management strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Conduct complex, important work under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in project/program management.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Agile Project Management methodology.
  • Ability to understand a project at its component level and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership.

Highly Desired:

  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance .
  • 8+ years experience.
  • Strong understanding of CJADC2 and related military operational concepts.
  • Broad knowledge of emerging technologies and specifically interested in Artificial Intelligence.
  • Excitement for learning and overcoming challenges.
