SUMMARY

The Team Leader III will manage and oversee collections for multiple RealPage products. Manage team of AR and Billing Specialists, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary, including administrative support and performance review.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage team of AR and Billing Specialists, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary, including administrative support and performance review.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiry and resolution.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of the collections team, implementing measures to improve productivity and success rates.
  • Review and evaluate delinquent accounts, determining appropriate actions to be taken in accordance with company policies.
  • Communicate with customers regarding their outstanding debts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including billing, cash application, support, and customer service to resolve complex or escalated customer issues.
  • Prepare and review reports on collections activities, presenting data and insights to management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong knowledge of collections practices of at least 3-5 years.
  • Proficiency in using collections software and systems.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in collections in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve targets and deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all records and communications.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must have the ability to operate a personal computer and express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. May be required to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
