SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with mid to senior level (4-8 years) experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices and tools, .Net deployments, cloud experience, understanding of full SDLC, a passion for automation, and shows continuous improvement by learning new tools and technologies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with CI/CD tools such as TFS, Azure DevOps (ADO) including creation / maintenance / support new build & release pipelines
• Work with Git Based source control repositories such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, BitBucket, etc.
• Ability to work on cloud-based infrastructure (GCP Preferrable)
• Understand Customer requirements and analyze the gaps between existing architecture and customer requirements.
• Prototype the proposed solutions, document & report to leadership & engineering teams for giving clarity on the proposal.
• Demonstrate thought leadership in DevOps across multiple channels for various products & be a trust advisor.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• DevOps Tools: Proficient in using Azure DevOps, GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, and SonarQube. Good to have experience in Kubernetes and Docker.
• CI/CD Expertise: Expert in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using Azure DevOps. Extensive hands-on experience with .Net build and release environments. Able to create build, deployment groups and release agents
• Cloud Experience: Preferably experienced with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Capable of creating and deploying applications in the cloud. Good to have experience in application migrations from data center (on-prem) to the cloud.
• Issue Resolution: Responsible for bug fixes and critical issue resolutions. Should be able to resolve issues and firefighting during production releases.
• Networking: Strong understanding of Networking concepts like VPN, VPCs, subnets, routing, Load balancers, Firewalls and DNS.
• On-Call Support: Provide On-Call support as needed.
• Monitoring and Support: Utilize ELK or Kibana stack for monitoring and support.
• Automation: Skilled in automating processes using PowerShell or Bash.
• Server Administration: Working knowledge of Windows Server administration. Good to have Linux server administration.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficient with IaC tools like Terraform.
• Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Other skills: Documentation of process and SOPs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in DevOps engineer roles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
