The Command Alkon Renewal Specialist is responsible for supporting all operational functions of the full renewal cycle with the goal of driving company revenue by renewing software and hardware maintenance agreements and subscriptions accurately and on-time. To accomplish this goal, the role relies on productive collaboration with Sales, Billing, and Collections and accurate documentation of each assigned renewal opportunity.

How You'll Succeed

  • Process renewal orders accurately and on-time
  • Create open renewal orders for the Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)
  • Deliver accurate and complete (fully executable) renewal packages to the SDRs by deadlines specified by leadership
  • Partner with Sales to increase renewal revenue and retain renewal customer
  • Update SalesForce subscriptions to reflect changes to customer contracts, including expanded business, changes to contract terms, co-terming, amendments, etc.
  • Partner with Product Management to ensure that the data in the production systems reflects what is in SalesForce
  • Submit all assigned Renewals to Billing by month end per the original renewal dates
  • Renewal Management is the back office for all renewal business and is responsible to ensure that the subscriptions database is accurate and complete
  • Consistently provide accurately monthly and quarterly reporting for renewed customers revenue as well as open renewal pipeline and any at-risk customers
  • Comply with defined renewal and operational processes and policies
  • Utilize Salesforce and internal systems to create and verify accuracy of renewal orders
  • Manage an assigned pipeline of renewal opportunities so that Renewal Account Executives and customers receive accurate and timely renewal notices and renew their current agreement/subscription on or before the expiration date
  • Accurately document renewal order status, ongoing activities in Salesforce
  • Follow up on lapsed renewals until Sales/the customer renews or clearly confirms reasons for non-renewal
  • Prioritize daily workload to meet KPIs and complete assigned tasks
  • Cross functional interaction with Sales, Customer Support, Finance, Products, and other Command Alkon teams to ensure alignment on customer renewals
  • Perform other ad hoc projects and analysis
  • Assist Provisioning and Order Management teams with any overflow work during month end
