SUMMARY

SRE & Systems team at Realpage is a global team involved in support, provisioning and de-provisioning of multiple opensource application environments. At RealPage, ENGINEER I will report to Sr.MANAGER - SRE & SYstems and will be involved in provisioning, de-provisioning & support of multiple open source application environments infrastructure. Should be flexible to work in SHIFTS.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be an SRE for assigned critical products (Monitor, support & enhancement)
• LINUX support experience in an IT environment, preferably in a technical industry (Server Deployment, Monitoring & Support)
• Working knowledge on GCPEnvironments
• Work in ANSIBLE & Ansible Towers (Playbook, Inventories, Scheduling, Repo etc)
• Work with clustering technologies, server farming techniques, load balancing, F5 Big IP or other hardware load balancing.
• Work on Disaster Recovery techniques including backup and restoration technologies, replication strategies, fail-over and recovery.
• Automation technologies for rapid deployment of server builds and software deployment.
• Experienced with installation/configurations on Apache, Samba, FTP, NFS, LDAP.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Minimum 4 to 6 Years experience with atleast 2 years as an SRE.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to learn new technologies and adapt to it.
• Provide Governance & oversight to guide implementation towards solution delivery.
• Guide & mentor, the team to successfully deliver the projects.
• Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
• SME in build & release, automations, CAAS & various other technical capabilities. Develop to execute automated builds & releases, benchmark the industry standards & processes to ensure efficient and quality delivery and deployments.
• Contribute to and review deployment plans; schedule the installation of new modules, upgrades, and fixes to the production environment.
• Leading analytical & design activities with approved/validated technologies in par with the organization standards and vested approaches and methods.
• Aligns IT security and IT operations teams to ensure that all processes, including DevOps processes, can operate safely and securely.
