SUMMARY
The Controls Analyst plays a crucial role within the Business Enterprise Solutions & Technology (BEST) team. In this role, you will ensure the security, compliance, and configuration integrity of Oracle Fusion through the operation of Risk Management Cloud (RMC). This position involves a blend of financial and security controls monitoring, triage, and resolution coordination. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial transaction controls, access appropriateness withing the context of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct the first point review of RMC alerts, triage minor alerts and coordinate resolutions for more material alerts with business stakeholders.
- Ensure all RMC alerts are remediated in a timely manner or extended with a documented exception.
- Manage minor configuration changes to RMC through defined change management procedures.
- Work closely with Internal Audit (IA), IT Risk & Governance, Identity and Access Management (IAM), security, and business process owners to tune alerting, manage compliance activities, and enhance risk management practices.
- Generate detailed reports on financial transactions, Separation of Duties (SoD) violations, Sensitive Access (SA), and compliance status. Track and remediate identified issues.
- Promote a risk-aware culture within the organization by educating stakeholders and colleagues about compliance requirements, risk management best practices, and how to operate RMC.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Candidates should have significant experience (often 4+ years) in risk management roles, preferably within Oracle Cloud environments or similar ERP systems. Familiarity with financial controls, compliance frameworks, and audit processes is essential.
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems, or a related field is typically required. Advanced degrees or certifications in risk management or cybersecurity may be advantageous.
- The ability to analyze complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and anomalies is crucial for effective decision-making. Ability to adapt to changing regulations and business requirements and adjust configurations accordingly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for collaborating with various stakeholders and presenting findings clearly.
- Experience operating in a publicly traded company with a strong control's mindset and culture.
