SUMMARY
As a Payments Compliance Specialist, you will work closely with a team of analysts and the Compliance Manager and a Third-Party Payments Processor. This position assists in the day-to-day support of Monitoring Transaction control processes and works to identify and assess various transaction related risks throughout the assigned business lines.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Will work daily in transaction monitoring software queue with other transaction risk analysts to clear and escalate system-generated alerts in a timely manner.
- Participate in BSA/AML/Fraud compliance training to stay up to date on financial crime trends as it relates to the payments industry.
- Will review ACH and credit card transactions for unusual spikes in volume and or return activity, both at the micro (Consumer/Payor) and macro (Property Management Company) levels.
- Will work on assigned task (outside of software) from departmental duties checklist.
- Analyst will be responsible for triaging second level review alerts in transaction monitoring software. This position requires case management skills to assist with escalation process.
- Responsible for drafting report of findings for case dispositions.
- Responsible for assigning alerts to level I analysts.
