SUMMARY

The Mixed-Use Business Operations team is looking for a Business Operations Analyst - Compensation who will support our award winning Sales and Customer Success teams. This individual will own the monthly variable compensation process including the strategy behind Buildium’s variable compensation philosophy. As a key member of the organization, this individual will also help to drive sales and customer success efficiency, while working cross-functionally with Finance and other departments to impact the business. This role requires a passion for process improvement and attention to detail.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, update, and maintain variable compensation plans for both the Sales and Customer Success organizations including the strategic annual crafting of plans, and the ongoing compensation plan administration.
  • Work closely with the Finance & Payroll teams to execute the monthly commissions process to ensure that the Sales and Customer Success organizations are paid accurately and timely.
  • Assist sales leadership with designing and reporting on weekly, monthly, and annual Sales contests.
  • Help craft and define the Sales business processes, systems, territory management, and go-to-market strategy to make the Sales organization more efficient and effective.
  • Provide ongoing reporting and analysis using Excel, Salesforce, and Looker to make data driven decisions at the individual contributor and Sales leadership levels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with members of the Finance, IT, Marketing, and business systems teams.
  • Review and respond to inquiries directed to business operations, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College.
  • 1-3 years of business experience, with a preference of 1-3 years of experience in Revenue Operations at a SaaS company or similar environment.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Advanced with Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Looker, and Google Sheets.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with a desire to learn.
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for understanding complex data sets.
  • Strong technical knowledge, with an understanding of sales processes and systems.
  • Experience working in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to act with integrity and carry out all responsibilities in an honest and professional manner.
