Liquibase is hiring a VP of Product to lead and oversee our product vision, strategic roadmap prioritization, metrics, and operations. You will guide our product investment and prioritization with key stakeholders across the business including User Experience, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success. You will lead the product team and implement new agile product processes to deliver outstanding customer experience, business results, and strategic imperatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, define, and implement short- and long-range strategies for multiple product lines to achieve strategic goals as well as maximize sales and profit objectives
• Partner closely with all functional leaders to set and incorporate business objectives, and strategy
• Assess and identify opportunities and challenges in Liquibase’s current products and shepherd new product capabilities in partnership with engineering and the company leadership team
• Deliver on business milestones through impactful product releases
• Provide senior subject-matter expertise on Liquibase to internal and external audiences
• Cultivate an outcome-focused, hypothesis-driven environment for your team and ensure daily efforts are effective and aligned with the Liquibase mission
• Assist in planning and lifecycle determination for customer-facing products and features
• Plan, coordinate, and drive discipline around the processes for prioritization, design, testing, and launch of new products and features
• Deeply understand the needs and pain points of our target audience through market research and competitive analysis as well as partnering with the Customer Success team and the open source community to understand user feedback and lead the product team to be the informed voice of the user
• Stay abreast of competition and innovation within the DevOps space and use the knowledge to inform requirements and new product features
• Display leadership through inspiring and motivating internal and external audiences
• Work with Sales and Finance to deliver a monthly revenue forecast
• Partner with Engineering to ensure product and technology is being built in a way that is scalable, sustainable, and reliable
• Prepare budgets for approval, including those for funding or implementation of programs
• Lead and prioritize the work of a nimble team of Product Managers, Product Owners, and UX Designers and fill vacancies with stellar team members
• Cultivate an outcome-focused, hypothesis-driven environment for your team and ensure daily efforts are effective and aligned with the Liquibase mission
• Grow, scale, and develop product leaders to cultivate a forward-thinking product culture focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and results-driven performance
• Establish, track, and report KPIs to measure success and forecast future performance of the product

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Product Operations, Product Strategy, or Product Management in the B2B domain
• Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role where you worked closely with C-level executives of Product and Engineering teams
• Experience leading and growing high-performance teams in fast-paced organizations including remote teams
• Proven organizational skills and superior time management skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience
