Overview
Liquibase is the leader in Database Change Governance. Trusted by many of the world’s largest enterprises and downloaded more than 100 million times, Liquibase helps organizations govern database change across modern applications, data platforms, and AI-driven software delivery.
We’re looking for a Field Marketing Manager to build and scale highly targeted programs that create pipeline, accelerate strategic opportunities, deepen customer relationships, and strengthen our partner ecosystem.
You’ll own regional marketing programs that combine executive events, partner activities, digital experiences, account-based marketing, and customer engagement into measurable pipeline. You’ll work directly with Sales, Customer Success, Partners, and Demand Generation to bring our highest-value accounts together through experiences that move deals forward.
If you think in terms of pipeline instead of attendance and revenue instead of registrations, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Own
- Build and execute field marketing programs across North America, including executive dinners, roundtables, regional events, customer meetups, webinars, workshops, roadshows, and virtual experiences.
- Develop account-based marketing programs aligned to strategic enterprise accounts, expansion opportunities, and priority territories.
- Partner with Sales to identify target accounts, build invite lists, and create programs that accelerate active opportunities.
- Work closely with Customer Success to develop customer marketing events that drive expansion, advocacy, and executive engagement.
- Plan and execute partner marketing activities with cloud providers, technology partners, GSIs, and regional partners.
- Develop integrated campaigns around every field program, including pre-event outreach, digital promotion, follow-up, and nurture.
- Own the regional field marketing calendar and align programs with product launches, sales priorities, and partner initiatives.
- Measure pipeline sourced, pipeline influenced, opportunity acceleration, customer engagement, and overall program ROI.
- Manage event vendors, sponsorships, budgets, logistics, and execution from concept through follow-up.
- Build repeatable playbooks that scale successful field programs across regions and audiences.
What Success Looks Like
- Consistent pipeline contribution from field marketing programs.
- Increased engagement across strategic enterprise accounts.
- Strong customer participation that drives expansion opportunities.
- High-impact partner programs that generate qualified pipeline.
- Strong sales alignment before, during, and after every program.
- Clear reporting on ROI, pipeline influence, and revenue contribution.
The Ideal Candidate
- Thinks like a revenue owner, not an event planner.
- Understands that great field marketing starts with the right accounts, not the right venue.
- Builds strong relationships with Sales and becomes a trusted partner to the field.
- Operates independently and thrives in fast-moving environments.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable balancing strategy with execution.
- Brings creativity while remaining focused on measurable business outcomes.
- Uses AI tools to improve planning, research, content creation, and execution.
Must Haves
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS field marketing, ABM, or event marketing experience.
- Proven experience generating measurable pipeline through field programs.
- Experience partnering closely with enterprise sales teams.
- Experience building account-based marketing campaigns.
- Experience planning executive-level customer events.
- Experience working with technology partners or channel organizations.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience measuring attribution, pipeline influence, and program ROI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable operating in a lean, high-growth environment.
Nice to Haves
- Experience marketing to developers, platform engineering, DevOps, data engineering, or security audiences.
- Experience with HubSpot, Zoom, or similar event platforms.
- Experience supporting customer marketing and expansion programs.
- Experience working with partners.
- Experience using AI tools to improve campaign execution.
