Job Overview: Health by Design has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the HR department. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, contributing to the overall success of the organization supporting Medici and Hea;th by Design Employees.

The position is onsite Monday - Friday at our San Antonio office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage ACA filing.
  • Assist with 401K Compliance.
  • Manage the offboarding process, including processing terminations, scheduling exit interviews, and coordinating the return of company assets.
  • New Hire Orientation and Onboarding process.
  • Manage unemployment claims.
  • Partnerwith managing HRIS system, UKG/Kronos.
  • Manage Reports out of HRIS system, UKG/Kronos.
  • Participate in developing and organizational guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintain workplace policies and procedures.
  • Reconciles HR corporate credit card.
  • Assist with Onboarding to include orientation, I-9, etc...
  • Benefits questions and education.
  • Audit of employee files.
  • Follow up with employee needs in HR mailbox.
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Manage and reconcile all invoices, to include benefits, that come to HR.
  • Managecompany leaves.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education:Bachelor’s Degree (in Human Resources a plus)
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:SHRM certification preferred.
  • Excellent Computer Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • UKG/Kronos Experience a plus.
  • Two years' experience in Human Resources.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external clients in a professional helpful manner.
  • Ability to work as an effective team member.
