Role Summary
As a Senior Go Backend Engineer for our datapath team, you will work on our data processing pipeline, as well as data ingestion and inferencing. You will work closely with architects and the rest of the team to define our path forward, and then put your Go skills to work building and scaling our systems.

Role Summary
As a Senior Go Backend Engineer for our datapath team, you will work on our data processing pipeline, as well as data ingestion and inferencing. You will work closely with architects and the rest of the team to define our path forward, and then put your Go skills to work building and scaling our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement our go data processing pipeline, ingestion and inferencing.
- Testing and QA through to production for owned features.
- Manage individual priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred.
- 5+ years of experience with Go.
- 5+ years designing and operating highly available multi-tenant services.
- 2+ years of experience building data processing pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of databases in the context of highly scalable web services, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with Kafka or similar platforms.
- Understanding of Networking concepts (like TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, etc).
- Experience with Linux, containers, Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with best practices for securing cloud based services.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
