The ideal candidate:- will enjoy coding at all layers in a web application stack- will be fluent in modern web application frameworks and design- will understand how great UX contributes to customer acquisition and retention- will be excited about building systems using a log oriented, event-driven architecture- will learn whatever is necessary to get the job done- will have a passion for data driven improvements and optimization- will write clean, elegant, simple, testable code- will commit often, perfect later, publish once- will take pride in their work- will want to work with others who do the sameQualifications (the more the better)- A degree in Computer Science OR equivalent experience- More than 7+ years experience deploying high quality, modern web applications- Have used JavaScript view frameworks like React, Om, Riot, Backbone, Ember, Angular in a production capacity- Experience designing and building REST JSON APIs- Experience working with large datasets, multiple data streams, and data visualization- Solid understanding of relational and non-relational datastores- Experience working in a fast paced startup environment- Familiarity deploying using AWS, Docker, microservice, reacjs, Chef, etc.
