Augmented Reality / Hardware / Integration Technology Department

The Engineering team at Red 6 develops systems to see and interpret the world. These systems synthesize and visualize a synthetic reality into a hive mind of real-world knowledge. We are engineering high performing and highly advanced augmented reality platforms and infrastructure, which support our military partners’ operations. This enables us to collaborate and train with the world’s most advanced military systems and develop our warfighter’s capabilities as the world’s most important line of defense.

The Role

Our ideal Associate Test Engineer will have an aptitude, ambition, and attitude combined with professional curiosity to determine compliance with standards both given and implied. As an Associate Test Engineer at Red 6, you will develop and execute verification tests and report test execution status. You will review system requirements and track tests metrics while contributing to test processes and future testing capabilities. The willingness to adapt and overcome obstacles as they present themselves. Utilize your individual uniqueness to contribute to the team goal.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
• Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field
• Qualified candidate must have the ability to obtain a security clearance. This requires U.S. Citizenship

Preferred / Additional Skills

• Experience with software test methodologies, and tools like: Test Complete, QTP, Selenium, JIRA, JAMA, Doors
• Software development experience in any technology or capacity
• Experience working in an AGILE environment
• Experience with Linux
