Augmented Reality / Hardware / Integration Technology Department

The Engineering team at Red 6 develops systems to see and interpret the world. These systems synthesize and visualize a synthetic reality into a hive mind of real-world knowledge. We are engineering high performing and highly advanced augmented reality platforms and infrastructure, which support our military partners’ operations. This enables us to collaborate and train with the world’s most advanced military systems and develop our warfighter’s capabilities as the world’s most important line of defense.

The Role

Our ideal Test Engineer will have an aptitude, ambition, and attitude combined with professional curiosity to determine compliance with requirements both given and implied. As a Test Engineer at Red 6, you will develop and execute verification tests and report test execution status. You will review system requirements and track tests metrics while contributing to test processes and future testing capabilities. Present metrics and report findings to engineers and management during product release cycles. The willingness to adapt and overcome obstacles as they present themselves. Utilize your individual uniqueness to contribute to the team goal.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience working in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with software test methodologies, and tools like: Test Complete, QTP, Selenium, JIRA, JAMA, Doors
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
• Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases
• Hands-on experience with white box and black box testing
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field
• Experience following system engineering V or Spice Model
• Qualified candidate must have the ability to obtain a security clearance. This requires U.S. Citizenship

Preferred / Additional Skills

• Experience working on AS9100 certified programs
• Software development experience in any technology or capacity
• Experience working in an AGILE environment
• Experience in working on multiple overlapping Programs and/or Projects
• Experience with Linux
