What You’ll Do:

As a Global Marketing Manager for Slingshot Aerospace’s International Business Unit (IBU), your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute a strategic marketing plan to promote Slingshot's products and services on a global scale. Reporting to the IBU’s General Manager, and working alongside the corporate Growth and Marketing team, this role involves overseeing international campaigns, managing regional marketing initiatives, and building partnerships that increase brand awareness and customer engagement across multiple continents. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of space industry trends, expertise in global markets, and the ability to translate complex technologies into compelling marketing messages.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Localise and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy that is aligned with Slingshot’'s business goals and mission,
  • Identify key market opportunities and tailor strategies for expansion in diverse regions, with a focus on growth in Europe, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and emerging markets.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to position Slingshot as a leader in the space industry worldwide.
  • Articulate Slingshot's brand, ensuring consistency and relevance across global markets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to translate complex technical solutions into accessible, customer-focused messaging that resonates across cultures.
  • Ensure all communications align with Slingshot's vision and voice, and support its reputation as a trusted operational partner.
  • Identify space/AI/Tech industry conferences and events outside of the US, and support the execution of attendance
  • Plan and deliver global marketing campaigns, tailored to regional audiences, to drive awareness, generate leads, and enhance customer loyalty.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on campaign performance to optimize ROI and make data-driven decisions.
  • Partner closely with Growth, Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to support go-to-market strategies for new offerings and enhancements.
  • Support regional sales pods in establishing strategic relationships with global customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to bring fresh perspectives to global challenges.
  • Perform other duties as assigned (to be less than 10% of the responsibilities listed above)

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a global or regional role
  • Proven track record in creating and executing successful global marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand positioning, and content strategy, with an ability to adapt these skills to diverse global audiences.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, capable of making complex concepts engaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to travel up to 15-20% of the time

Preferred Skills

  • Space or tech industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to rapid changes in the space industry.
  • Highly organized and ability to work in matrixed organization
  • Experience of working overseas

Location: Remote, United Kingdon

Compensation Details: £55,000 - £75,000
