ABOUT THE POSITION

Product Management at SubjectWell is responsible for developing the products and services that help patients enrol faster in clinical trials worldwide. As a Product Manager in the Cape Town office, your focus will be developing new service offerings that enable our study site partners to track, screen, and stay in touch with trial candidates throughout enrolment. This role requires high levels of initiative: you will be expected to proactively suggest new features and elicit feedback from customers and internal stakeholders. You will own projects from start to finish. Working with the Senior Product Manager, you will define and prioritise the initiatives impacting patient lives and contribute to developing cutting-edge medical care.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Meet regularly with stakeholders and customers to gather feature requirements and feedback.
• Write product requirement documents clearly defining medium-duration projects (1-2 quarters).
• Work with the Senior Product Manager to prioritise initiatives for the quarterly roadmap.
• Work closely with a dedicated software development team to deliver high-quality applications on time and to specifications.
• Ensure internal and external stakeholders are informed and trained on new releases.
• Track the success of deployed features and iterate for continuous improvement.
• Write epics and well-structured user stories.
• Interface with external vendors and partners.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

• 1+ years of Product Management experience.
• Experience in Healthcare or the Medical industry is advantageous but not required.
• Strong Project Management skills
• Strong organisation, communication, and presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High written and verbal communication acuity
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and proactively with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work with a team to support the delivery of a high-performance culture.
