Job description
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Security Guard at our Guadalajara office, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Control Site Access
Verify identification and manage visitor logs to ensure only authorized personnel enter the premises.

Conduct Patrols
Perform timed foot patrols of both interior and exterior areas, including doors, gates, docks, storage areas, and critical rooms.

Monitor Security Systems
Observe CCTV, alarms, and radios; promptly escalate irregularities or breaches in accordance with post orders.

Incident Response
Respond to security, safety, or medical incidents (e.g., trespassing, disturbances, hazards), and coordinate with management or public authorities when necessary.

Reporting
Preserve incident scenes, collect basic facts, and complete accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs), incident reports, and shift handoff notes.

Enforce Site Rules
Uphold property rules and regulations (e.g., no-smoking zones, parking restrictions, access control) in a firm but professional and customer-oriented manner.

Lock/Unlock and Escorts
Conduct lock/unlock rounds, escort team members or contractors, and assist with after-hours deliveries as needed.

Equipment Maintenance
Maintain post equipment (e.g., radios, flashlights) and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.

Light Maintenance Tasks
Perform minor maintenance tasks such as replacing water jugs or basic bathroom repairs when required.

Policy Compliance
Adhere to all company and client policies regarding confidentiality, safety, and emergency response procedures.
Job requirements
Contractor Status: Candidates will join the Company as Contractors. As a Contractor, the candidate will not be eligible for Company benefits and must deduct their own taxes.
Must-haves:
Must pass a background check with clear results, as required by company policy.
This is an unarmed security role by default.
Minimum 1 year of experience in security, military, law enforcement, or a related field — or a strong equivalent.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility for extended or emergency coverage as needed.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, a professional demeanor, and proven de-escalation abilities.

Physical ability to:
Stand and walk for extended periods
Climb stairs
Lift up to ~50 lbs
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Basic proficiency using smartphones, email, and incident reporting applications.
Preferred:
Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
Experience with access control systems, visitor management software, and CCTV monitoring.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
Familiarity with office or residential security environments.
