Job Description:
The Forward Deployed Engineer is primarily responsible for development and delivery of customer-specific integrations with the Worlds AI platform. Forward Deployed Engineers create customized solutions using third-party tools for analytics/reporting, data transformation, business rules, and event notification. This role combines technical expertise applied to delivery of customer value across diverse industries.

Responsibilities:

• Client Management: Work directly with clients to understand their business challenges and define technical requirements.
• Business Impact: Drive value early to customers and ensure measurable ROI through an iterative approach.
• Project Management: Manage multiple concurrent client projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Collaboration: Work with Solutions Architecture, Customer Success and client contacts to execute project requirements and objectives.
• Rapid Prototyping & Customization: Build custom applications, dashboards, or integrations to existing customer software platforms as needed.
• Testing and validation: Collaboration with Solutions Architects and clients as needed to validate effectiveness of projects and ensure delivery of value.
• Proficiency with the Worlds Platform: This role will complete administrator training to ensure required understanding of Worlds systems and an ability to advise client teams to successful project design and delivery.
• Reporting: Weekly project updates will be provided to client assigned project managers to update stakeholders on project status.
• Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of processes, standards, and project deliverables, establishing repeatable best-practices and sharing insights gained from client engagements.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Strong background in software development such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Integration Expertise: Hands-on experience with APIs, web services, and third-party integration tools.
• Workflow Automation Tools: Experience with no-code workflow automation platforms. (e.g. Zapier, Azure Logic Apps, Microsoft Power Platform)
• Data Handling: Proficiency in working with data formats like JSON, XML, and CSV.
• Database Knowledge: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Reporting & Analytics: Familiarity with analytics platforms and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
• Cloud Technologies: Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and deployment tools.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, customers and sales.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and comfort working directly with clients to understand and address their needs.
• Adaptability: Comfortable managing multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Custom Solutions Development: Proven track record of creating tailored software solutions for clients.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

• AI/ML Experience: Prior experience with artificial intelligence or machine learning applications.
• Video Analytics: Background in computer vision or video processing technologies.
• Cross-Industry Background: Experience across multiple industry verticals.
