About This Role

• Collaborate across multiple departments including Operations, Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Business Development to identify, define, and track business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large sets of data using statistical methods and tools to identify trends and patterns in business operations

• Design and implement data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders

• Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data analytics tools to ensure accuracy and integrity

• Communicate findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders using clear and concise language to inform data-driven decision-making

• Identify areas of improvement in existing processes and recommend solutions to enhance data collection and analytical efficiency and accuracy

• Stay up to date with the latest trends in data analytics and identify opportunities to leverage new tools and techniques to improve business insights

• Reports to the VP of Operations.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Data Analyst or relevant role

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related field

• Proven success working as a Business Data Analyst, with a strong preference towards experience in a fast-paced startup environment

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large sets of data

• Proficiency in data visualization and dashboard creation tools. Experience with Metabase is a plus

• Familiarity with SQL and other programming languages for data manipulation and analysis

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders

• Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and data integrity.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Knowledge of Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager with mobile app development is a plus

• Passion for data and a desire to work across dynamic cross-functional teams in an industry-changing company.
