The Job

We're in search of a dynamic individual to step into the role of Government Program Manager at SkyFi, tasked with spearheading program performance and the execution of government-focused initiatives. The ideal candidate will boast a robust background in program management, specifically within the realm of government contracts and military environments, adept at juggling cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements.

  • Lead the orchestration of program activities from inception to delivery, ensuring strict adherence to established baselines for cost, schedule, and technical performance

  • Establish program management baselines, track performance metrics, and diligently monitor progress to generate refined estimates and projections

  • Develop and implement standardized processes and practices to foster consistency across our portfolio of programs

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to bolster the development of program management frameworks, actively contributing to an agile development processes

  • Support proposal development endeavors and play a pivotal role in shaping growth strategies for both existing and forthcoming contracts

  • Act as a liaison with government and military clientele, ensuring seamless alignment with the DoD Acquisition Process while nurturing robust relationships

  • Elevate the effectiveness of government partners by facilitating efficient solution transfers, expediting adoption timelines, fostering collaborative multi-partner initiatives, strengthening relationships, and identifying new technology adopters

  • Liaise with government/military customers, ensuring alignment with the DoD Acquisition Process and fostering strong relationships

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven track record in program management, with a strong emphasis on government work

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, coupled with a knack for collaborating seamlessly across diverse teams

  • Tactful diplomatic skills for effective external communication with both domestic and foreign SkyFi end-users

  • Demonstrated capacity to prioritize and oversee multiple projects concurrently, consistently delivering top-notch products and solutions within stipulated timelines and budgets

  • Proficiency in monitoring and ensuring the successful execution of contracts, supporting business development endeavors, and nurturing organic growth prospects

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience navigating varied teams and stakeholders within a fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with government regulations and compliance standards

  • Active Secret security clearance at a minimum

  • Sound grasp of financial management principles, equipped to accurately update financial actuals and forecasts

    Salary range: $130k-$150k
